Description
The core of the Shun Premier blade is made from extremely hard VG Max steel and clad with 32 layers of Damascus steel. This combination gives the blade both strength and resilience. Sharpened on both sides, the lightweight blade delivers clean, precise cutting. Its hand-hammered surface is not only decorative: the small air pockets it creates help reduce food sticking to the blade.
Thanks to its symmetrical shape, the knife is suitable for both left- and right-handed users. A full tang provides stability and balance while cutting. A distinctive Tim Mälzer bull's-head engraving appears at the end of the handle.
