With the training katana (SH1070), wakizashi (SH2061) and tanto (SH2254), which have always been popular, enthusiasts and martial artists have the opportunity to purchase a Hanwei sword with value for money almost unbeatable. The blades are forged and hardened differently in the same process used for much more expensive swords. This results in a Rockwell hardness of 60HRC on the blade and 40HRC on the back of the blade. Cost savings were also made, especially by working with particularly robust fittings. This tanto is a sight to behold in any training room and easily stands up to some pretty tough cutting tests.
