While the Hanwei Raptor Tanto and Raptor Wakizashi (HN-SH2422) were designed primarily as companion weapons for the Raptor series katanas, they are also very effective cutting tools in their own right. The blades are designed in the style of James Williams' personal Nami Ryu swords. These pieces can be used to perfect combat techniques with all three weapons while completing an impressive collection.

Hanwei Raptor Series:

Under the aegis of Swordmaster James Williams, the Raptor (bird of prey) collection was designed specifically for those who do not necessarily have access to a training center but wish to train and perfect their blade handling technique.

Each blade is forged from 5160 high carbon steel and undergoes a special heat treatment which ensures a very high level of durability and ensures that it takes a lot of hard hits compared to a traditional differential hardening blade. Additionally, the structure of the steel used eliminates the need for excessive blade thickness, so the blades are equal in weight and handling to the Japanese originals.
