M48 Liberator double infantry ax

United Cutlery has taken its classic and popular M48 Tomahawk design and given it twice the cutting and chopping power with the M48 Liberator Infantry Double Axe.

The approximately 19.5 cm long double ax head is made of cast stainless steel with a black oxide coating and a satin finish. The ax has a razor sharp edge approximately 3.75 inches on each side, and the head has circular designs and the M48 logo inlaid on it. The sturdy, fiberglass-reinforced handle has a specially designed coarse texture for a non-slip grip and is secured to the head by three heavy-duty screws.

Measuring approximately 15.75 inches in length, the double ax fits into a durable Vortec and nylon blade sheath that features a belt loop for easy portability.
