Give your scissors some bite on the Tormek system with the SVX-150 scissor attachment.
It is suitable for all types of scissors from household scissors to large garden pruners.
You can also sharpen pinking shears that cut fabrics in a zigzag pattern, as well as portable electric planer irons.
The scissors are installed on a support which is installed without constraints on a support plate.
The grinding angle can be adjusted to exactly reproduce the existing cutting edge angle.
One of the scissor blades (sometimes both) often has a slightly convex shape.
With the Tormek device design, you follow the unique profile of each blade for gentle sharpening.
Rotating the wheel presses the chisel blade toward the support plate, so you can concentrate on moving the chisels across the wheel.
Design
The device consists of a bracket and a locking plate with two locking plates.
Normally, only the right plate is used.
The two plates are only used for large scissors or shears.
Adapt the blocking plate to the thickness of the chisel using the screw and secure the chisel with the button.
The support has a sliding surface allowing the chisel to move while it is compressed against the locking plate.
