Tormek SP-650 Stone Grader

The SP-650 changes the sharpening characteristics of compatible Tormek grindstones and restores their surface when it has become loaded with steel particles.

Two sides, two functions

• Coarse side in green silicon carbide, 220 grit, to restore a more aggressive cutting action.
• Fine side in grey silicon carbide, 1000 grit, to prepare the stone for a finer finish.

On the SG-200 and SG-250 Original Grindstones, the SP-650 therefore allows sharpening characteristics ranging from approximately 220 grit to an equivalent of approximately 1000 grit. It is also compatible with the SB-250 Blackstone Silicon.

Japanese Waterstone

The fine side can be used to clean the SJ-200 and SJ-250 Japanese Waterstones. Never use the coarse side on these stones, as it can damage them.

Important: the SP-650 is not intended for Tormek diamond wheels.
