Stainless steel main shaft with composite Ezylock nut.
The EzyLock system ensures the grinding wheel is securely fixed, without any risk of loosening.
Its unique design requires no tools to attach or loosen the wheel.
With the Tormek EzyLock system, which is both a nut and a washer, no tools are required to mount and disassemble the wheel.
The special pitch of the left-hand thread causes the nut to be tightened by rotating the disc to the correct torque.
When installing the wheel, position the EzyLock nut by turning it counterclockwise by hand.
It will automatically be tightened to the appropriate torque during the first sharpening.
If you need to change grinding wheels, rotate the wheel clockwise while securing the leather grinding wheel with the other hand, this way the EzyLock system will loosen easily.
This arrangement makes it easy to work with different grinding wheels, and you can upgrade to the Japanese Waterstone SJ-200 for an extra fine finish.

Fits Tormek T-4, Tormek T-3 and all older models with a wheel diameter of 200mm .
