With the LA-120 contoured leather dehoning discs, you can dehone and polish the inside of turning gouges, carving gouges and barley grains. Suitable for all Tormek models.

You attach the additional discs to the outer side of the standard honing disc.

The LA-120 comes with two standard drives. The first has a radius of 3 mm for gouges and the second has a 60º edge for barley grains.

It is used with Tormek PA-70 sharpening paste. When the discs are new, soak them with a few drops of light machine oil before applying the sharpening paste.

The leather discs are exchangeable so you can easily replace a worn disc. Please see LA-122 Standard Replacement Discs. There are also narrower profiles available. Please see LA-124 Contoured honing disc.

It is possible to mount two LA-120 discs, one with standard profiles and the other with a set of narrow discs, and thus have access to four different profiles at the same time.

High quality Swedish leather

The leather on the honing disc is supplied by the Tärnsjö Garveri tannery in Sweden. Tärnsjö Garveri has been tanning and processing leather for over 140 years and is today one of the few tanneries that completely tans their leather with natural products. The leather on the honing disc is both environmentally friendly and of high quality.

The 120 Rise 1276X956

This deburring device removes the burr and polishes the inside of gouges and chisels. It has two interchangeable discs, one with a 3 mm radius, the other with a sharp 60° angle. There is also a set of smaller profiles (LA-124) with a 2mm radius and a 45° sharp angle.
