Tormek AWT-250 - Water Trough T-7

The advanced AWT-250 water tray for T-7 features much larger dimensions to avoid getting your workspace wet. It is also supplied with an integrated magnet, which effectively collects the steel particles produced by sharpening. Once the operation is completed, you can remove them easily. A removable anti-drip chute is also included for long tools.

- The magnet protects the grinding wheel from steel particles
A powerful magnet built into the bottom of the water tray attracts steel particles removed from tools being sharpened.
This prevents any clogging of the wheel and keeps it sharper.
- Otherwise these small particles, compressed in the surface of the wheel, can hinder sharpening.
When cleaning the water tray, you will notice that the steel has mainly deposited directly on the magnet. Simply remove it using a paper towel or cloth.
Deflector for long tools
- For long tools that allow water to flow past the edge of the pan (like large kitchen knives or planer blades), simply add the deflector.
It attaches easily and brings the water back to the tank.
Tilt pads control water flow
- Two tilt pads are supplied with the AWT-250.
You can simply use them to raise the grinding side of the machine so that water flows out of the wheel and back into the bin.
This reduces the flow of water onto the crankcase.
Particularly useful when sharpening wide tools.
When not in use, the pads are simply stuck to the side of the housing by magnets.
