The crown of the bar is equipped with a transparent mesh behind which hides a bright white LED (100 lumens, lifespan of 50,000 hours). The LED is activated by a hidden button on the side of the pole and runs on replaceable AA batteries, which are located at the base of the pole (battery life approximately 20 hours).
