Tormek SB-250 Blackstone Silicon — 250 mm grindstone for HSS

The SB-250 Blackstone Silicon is specially designed for shaping and sharpening high-speed steel (HSS) and other highly alloyed steels. Its abrasive properties are particularly useful when available grinding pressure is low, including on large bevels and woodturning tools.

  • Effective sharpening of HSS and other highly alloyed steels.
  • Sharpening characteristics adjustable from an equivalent of approximately 220 grit to approximately 1000 grit using the SP-650.
  • Effective even at low grinding pressure.
  • Compatible with Tormek T-8, T-7 and older models accepting a 250 mm grindstone.
