Uncle Henry Knives, made by Imperial Schrade Corporation closed its doors on 30 July 2004, after 100 years of activity. There'll be no more knives Schrade Uncle Henry Original.
However, trademarks and designs of popular names are requested by the public and, as Mark Twain said, "The reports of my disappearance are greatly exaggerated".
Thanks to Taylor Brands LLC, who bought the intellectual property rights of all Old Timer knives, Schrade and Uncle Henry, these great classics revive.
Taylor recreated the original patterns and made these classics available to the public once again.
The only sad note is that they are now imported from China to keep prices low.
