A very pleasant cutting sensation
The bird knife Wusaki Damascus VG10 is as beautiful as efficient. It concentrates all the qualities we want to find in a good kitchen knife: performance, ergonomics, durability and design. Its breathtaking appearance immediately jumps to the eyes, by its originality, elegance, and excellent finishes.
Long-term
Made on the Japanese steel base VG10 hand polished up to obtain a razor edge, our bird knife retains its edge 2 to 3 times longer than a European steel knife. A manual V trim is made on each of our knives using a leather strip for a perfect cut from the first use!
Outstanding technical characteristics
The DAMAS VG10 bird beak knife has a steel blade with a hardness of 60 HRC with a VG10 steel core (carbon 1%). This high-end Japanese steel is much harder than most Western premium knives. We chose this steel for its excellent properties and its marked longevity.
A unique and original design
The DAMAS VG10 bird's beak knife blade has 67 layers of Damascus unique to each knife, as well as a hammering on the entire upper part of the blade.
The noble olive handle is as important as the blade of the knife: Unique dressing, stunning design and comfort assured.
Finally, the Japanese acronym engraved on the arse of the sleeve brings an extra notion of prestige and a resolutely original style to your knife.
The knivesWusakiare manufactured by a small structure located north of the city of Canton, the capital of the province of Guangdong, in Western China. This province is historically known for its know-how in the production of steel knives. The good relations between France and China allowed us to find a serious partner with a human-sized structure, just like ours. ExpertiseWusakiis entirely governed by the French manufacturing standards established for industry professionals. We are proud to have managed to make a reliable, superbly finished work tool, and at a very good price for our customers.
Wash by hand and wipe with a soft cloth. Never humidify the sleeve too much, even to wash it. You can pass a cloth imbibed with olive oil on the handle from time to time to protect the wood.
