The Wood Jewel Carving knife comes with a striker mounted in a wooden handle that fits into a separate pocket in the sheath. The knife blade has a notch on the back to provide a sharp surface against which to strike sparks without damaging the knife edge. All Wood Jewel knives are made in Lapland.
