Replica of a Merovingian throwing ax with a hand-forged steel ax blade.
The precursors of the Franziska were already used in the late Roman army. There are countless discoveries in the Alemannic settlement areas, in the south of England and mainly in the Franconian empire of the Merovingians.
The edge is already sharpened. The blade of the ax is solidly forged. However, we cannot accept any responsibility for the tree. We recommend tracking down an ash wood handle, which you can find at any hardware store.
