Handmade in Belgium – Certified Belgian craftsmanship
We are proud to have received the “Handmade in Belgium” label. This label certifies that our stones are 100% handmade, made using traditional methods, produced locally and unique.
Our Coticule Standard whetstone comes from the Belgian Ardennes. Due to the region’s geological characteristics, it contains approximately 35 to 40% garnet, providing excellent grinding properties.
- Very fine grit, comparable to 6000 grit
- Size: 200 × 40 mm
- Non-porous, to be used only with a little water
- The resulting slurry enables highly precise sharpening and a refined finish
⚠️ The relatively fragile yellow stone is bonded to a slate backing, which has no grinding function.
