From French farms, it is hard, hard and easy to work. Of a homogeneous aspect, its light color varies from yellow to pink.
It is recognizable by the presence of many small dark traits.
The handle is woven to be better protected from moisture and dirt.
Invented in 1955 by Marcel Opinel, the Virobloc safety ring equips all the fermant knives from N°06.
Cut into stainless steel, the Virobloc consists of two parts: a fixed part and a sliding part.
In addition to blocking the blade in open position (use security), it is now possible to lock the blade in closed position (transport security).
