The Opinel N°117 butter knife is perfect for spreading butter, jam and other spreadable foods. The blade of the Opinel butter knife is specially designed for spreading.

The stainless steel blade measures 7cm, it is not sharp. A child can therefore use it without danger. The blade is securely attached to the handle by two rivets. According to the manufacturer, this butter knife is dishwasher safe. However, we strongly advise against it because the heat and aggressiveness of the detergents alter the lifespan of the knives.
