This knife is handcrafted in our workshop in Laguiole le Fidele near Thiers in France.
It is unique and the creation process requires more than 170 manual operations on the part of the craftsman.
Olive wood handle
Olive wood is the Tree of the Mediterranean regions par excellence!
It flourishes on the hillsides where the cicadas sing and on the plains bathed in sunshine.
This golden-hued wood is used in all arts and crafts, turning, sculpture, cabinetmaking... and even high-end tableware.
