Description
Lansky DB-1260 is a double-sided diamond sharpness with coarse and fine gradations, allowing to repair the edge, change its angle and give the final edge.
The diamond coating is harder than the fried carbide, so the sharpening process is quite easy and fast, and requires no water or oil.
The coated plates also allow to sharpen modern steel knives with high degree of hardening, which cannot be handled by a standard stone sharper.
The sharpened stone consists of a solid polymer base with a non-slip collar and a removable diamond-coated steel plate with a coarse grain 120 and fine 600.
The rubberized base of the housing prevents the sharpener from slipping or sliding on the table, and thanks to the holes, it can also be permanently attached to the table top.
Lansky DB-1260 allows you to repair the blade, change its angle, pre-sharp and give the final edge.
In order to maximize the life of diamond plates, don't press the blade during sharpening.
