The chef's knife is THE classic among kitchen knives and is part of the basic equipment of every kitchen. It can be used as a universal knife for cleaning, peeling or chopping: The fine tip facilitates the peeling of vegetables, the long blade is particularly suitable for the preparation of fish and meat. Chef's knives usually have a blade length of 20 cm. However, there are also significantly shorter (from 14 cm) and longer (over 30 cm) blades with the geometry of the chef's knife.
The KAI Seki Magoroku Redwood series includes 12 different blade shapes. The high quality steel with a hardness of 58 HRC and the finely polished blade finish give the knives a high cutting performance.
The handle is redwood - a dark hardwood that is very oily and water resistant. It has a traditional chestnut shape. A polished black polypropylene ferrule completes the modern wood look.
