The Gentleman's Pocket knife is a blend of old-fashioned design and modern materials. Some professional hunters were able to look at a handmade sample of GP, and their spontaneous review was: This is what a hunting knife for hunting should look like! Personal preference aside, we suspect many will like the steel of this knife. Rolled cobalt special steel is unlikely to be sharp.

Other advantages are a reliable swing lock. A properly constructed liner-lock system is, in our opinion, the strongest blade lock in the world, but at the same time easy to handle. This technical solution also means that the knife is easy to clean. Rinse under warm running water and allow to dry for optimal hygiene and function. The strong knife bolt is threaded, so you can adjust the inertia of the blade to your liking. The blade mechanism does not need to be lubricated. Oil and grease attract dust and dirt, which will increase rather than decrease wear. The jumper on the end of the handle makes it easy to knot the knife - you don't want to lose this beauty!

GPbm is made of laminated steel with CoS as edge steel and with a black micarta handle. Micarta is a composite composed of phenolic resin (a thermoset) and for example canvas (linen or cotton) or paper. If canvas is used, the structure of the fabric appears when forming the knife shank, if paper is used you can often see different layers of this material.
