The Morakniv Companion Spark is a practical and handy bushcraft knife with integrated firesteel. At the end of the handle there is a compartment, click it and you are ready to start a fire in no time.
The name Companion suggests that this model is based on the highly regarded Morakniv knife. In terms of shape and material it is indeed the same knife. The blade is made of Sandvik 12C27 steel. A type of corrosion-resistant steel that is easy to sharpen. The traditional Scandi grind is excellent for woodworking and the blade length is ideal for many bushcraft tasks.
The back of the blade has a typical Mora right angle. It is therefore particularly suitable for using a firesteel. It makes the sparks fly! It is also perfect for scraping wood bark and making tinder.
When you are in nature, you must be able to trust your firesteel, so it must be securely attached. Mora therefore thought of this very practical attachment system. A little twist to the right and it's unlocked, a click and it's firmly held again.
The Morakniv Companion Sparks comes with a plastic case. This one has a belt loop (up to 4.5 cm).
