The axe head Condor Tool & Knife Valhalla-Battle Axe is made of carbon steel 1060 forged and is heat-treated and recuited to a Rockwell hardness of about 50-55 Rockwell. The natural finish is a bare metal look that gives the axe this unique look. This finish is a sophisticated process of hand hammering and gives a tool already well made a classic and improved look. The craftsmen of Condor use manual tools to maintain this traditional model so it seems to have been forged by hand over 200 years ago. The burnt heickory wooden handle is robust and gives the axe an antique look. The sheath is made of high quality brown leather, durable and handmade.
