Designed by Tony Lennartz
When the experienced trapper Anton Lennartz launches a tool developed internally, it is fair to expect a product that differs from the competition established in terms of application bandwidth and practicality. The conventional axes are often too heavy for outdoor activities, too heavy, too expensive in many cases and almost always bad to carry. The crucial point: small axes are useless for many requirements, sufficiently large axes do not fit into the backpack and increase its carrier. The dismantling of the Tony axe is achieved thanks to a rocketed front cask and an axe head that can be deferred by the side of the handle. From the first stroke, the stem is fixed in the eye of the axle head by the centrifugal force, so that it can no longer be released from itself. A slight stroke in the axial direction behind the tree releases the axe head and can be separated from the tree. The axe head is designed to provide a usable tool even without a tree. Using a continuous sheet, the Travelhawk edge is connected to the upper part by a kind of bridge. This construction allows you to seize the axe head with no stem and use the blade as a hoist, knife or knife.
