FGX CAT Tanto Knife

Many of the super lightweight knives in the new Nightshade™ series are detailed replicas of

existing popular cold steel blades. Some are completely new creations.

The blades are made from Griv-Ex™, the latest in fiberglass reinforced plastic. Griv-Ex™ is even

stronger than Zy-Ex™, the super hard material used in older Cold Steel models. Each blade is

also UV and heat stabilized and therefore weatherproof.

Among other things, these knives are characterized by their unique, deeply wavy handles. The handles were directly with

Molded Kray-Ex™. The use of Kray-Ex™ in the design of knife handles is a Cold Steel innovation

in the early eighties. This material provides a premium surface that is slightly tacky and insensitive to heat,

Cold or damp. It won't rust, warp, tear or split even under the toughest conditions.
