This Cold Steel Norman sword is based on the swords that Norman warriors used as they crossed the English Channel to Britain. There they won the famous Battle of Hastings in the year 1066.

Just like the original swords we were able to study, our Cold Steel Norman Sword has a wide blade and a broad tip. The groove in the middle serves to limit the weight of the sword and also makes the sword extremely attractive to look at.

The handguard turns a little forward and the handle is made of wood covered in leather. The pommel is a typical "bicorne". It ensures good balance of this sword.
