Description
The Cold Steel Orange Survival Edge features a German 4116 stainless steel blade. Sharp as an ox and butterfly light, the blade has a strong clip tip that is versatile to meet any survival situation. The high-quality orange polypropylene handle has a built-in double quillon guard to protect your fingers as well as attach the knife to a stick for use as an improvised spear. The handle has plenty of texture as well as 5 rubber "O" rings for maximum traction. The waterproof cap on the end of the hollow handle unscrews to reveal ample storage space for survival kits, tinder, or whatever else you need to store in an emergency. Comes with a lightweight, durable, waterproof Secure-Ex sheath that includes Ferrocerium fire steel. A quick strike with the back of the blade will produce a shower of white-hot sparks and start a campfire in no time.
