Cold Steel 39LSFC Leatherneck-SF - D2 German Tool Steel Blade - Griv-Ex™ Handle - Secure-Ex® Sheath

The Cold Steel Leatherneck series is comprised of two distinct and iconic blade styles, both of which have proven exceptionally popular with our brothers and sisters in the armed forces: The Leatherneck-SF (for Semper-Fi) has a beautiful sharp saber by hand. ground clip point blade, and the Leatherneck Tanto features the signature Cold Steel "American Tanto" blade with a heavy duty reinforced tip for added strength. Both are made from tough D2 tool steel with a non-reflective black powder coat finish. To prevent the user's fingers from slipping forward on their cutting edge, Leathernecks are fitted with a strong steel double quillon. The handles are made of deeply checkered Kray-Ex™ which totally encompasses the extra wide, full tang Leathernecks. The handle of the Leatherneck is capped with a thick machined steel cap (not cheap casting or plastic like some others on the market) so it can even double as a hammer in an emergency! To transport Leatherneck knives safely and conveniently, each blade comes complete with a sturdy and versatile military-style Secure-Ex® sheath with fully removable, ambidextrous belt loop.
