As a combination of a modern EDC and a high-quality gentleman's knife, the Boker Plus Cataclyst also convinces in the Damascus variant with 110 layers across the board. The sturdy blade opens on ball bearings via a flipper and features a flat grind and groove on both sides. It is held open by the sophisticated hinge mechanism and does not lock, but is simply held securely in position by a locking ball. With proper pressure on the back of the blade, the blade can be folded without releasing any locking device.

To ensure that no doubts arise when transporting the Cataclyst Brown Damascus Flipjoint, we have explicitly had a declaratory ruling for the legal weapon classification of a knife with a ball retainer of the blade drawn up.
