After treatment, high hardness coefficient (60-61 HRC) and high corrosion resistance. The blades are made in Thiers. The front 2/3 of the blade is sharpened for precision work. They also have a segment of micro-teeth to quickly cut ropes and straps.
Handle: Micarta
- Made of Micarta, a composite material consisting of a frame of linen fiber, cotton or glass (depending on the model) integrated into an epoxy base under high temperature and high pressure. Material stable over time, resistant to variations in temperature and humidity. Very pleasant to the touch.
Integrated single/double blade self-sharpening system
- This patented system calibrates the cutting angle of the blades each time the knife enters and exits its sheath, guaranteeing perfect sharpening of the blade
The self-sharpening system sharpens the blade to 28°, equivalent to the angle of legendary Japanese swords. No current outdoor knife has this feature.
The holsters have the particularity of being ambidextrous. Whether you are right-handed or left-handed, the knife fits in its sheath indifferently. Each sheath accepts single or double edged blades without distinction.
