Ideal working position

Most workbenches are far too high to practice precise and well-controlled sharpening. The posture is comfortable when the shoulders are relaxed and the arms bent at waist height. It is in this position that you can apply the correct pressure and achieve the best results.

Based on this, Tormek has developed the TS-740 sharpening station, which allows you to work in the ideal position according to your stature. So you can work longer without fatigue. The height is adjustable between 750 mm (29 1/2") and 830 mm (32 5/8"). And since all four feet are individually adjustable, you can additionally compensate for uneven floors.

Everything fits perfectly

The TS-740 sharpening station is supplied with several Tormek storage bins: T8-00 storage bin for the accessories included in the Tormek T-8, HTK-00 storage bin for the Hand Tool Kit and storage TNT-00 for the Woodturner's Kit, as well as the rubber mat RM-533 (other accessories and devices not included). The three storage bins fit neatly into each of the six specially designed drawers. The other three drawers are provided with practical rubber mats. The first two drawers are 60 mm (2 3/8") high, the other four 95 mm (3 3/4") high.

With specially designed storage drawers and bins, you always have where your devices and accessories are, each neatly stored in its place and immediately accessible when you need them. The drawers also have a damped closing system. In short, this is a genuine sharpening center.

Side storage for additional grinding wheels

If you use more than one grinding wheel, you can store them on the side of the sharpening station. You can leave them to dry after use, avoiding the formation of humidity in your drawers. Two hooks are included, easy to fix in the holes provided on the sides of the sharpening station.

Safe and durable storage

The TS-740 sharpening station is equipped with a central key lock. So you can be sure that none of your valuable Tormek products are missing. All you have to do is put your device or accessory back in its place in the corresponding storage compartment and lock it!

The finish of this sharpening station is tough and durable. Scratch-resistant powder coat paint and rounded uprights minimize the risk of damage. Just as much at the sharpening station as at yourself! In addition, the RM-533 rubber mat forms a durable and waterproof work surface.
