Tormek SJ-200 Japanese Waterstone — 4000 grit Japanese waterstone
The SJ-200 Japanese Waterstone is a very fine finishing stone designed to produce a polished bevel and exceptionally sharp edge with minimal material removal. Its 4000 grit is particularly suitable for knives, scissors, carving tools, plane irons and chisels.
A finishing stone, not a shaping stone
The SJ-200 is not intended to create a new edge geometry or remove large amounts of material. If the tool needs repair or reshaping, establish the edge first with a more suitable grindstone and then use the SJ-200 for finishing.

Maintenance
Clean the surface regularly using the fine side of the SP-650 or the abrasive side of a sponge. Never use the coarse side of the SP-650 on this stone, as it can damage it. After correct sharpening on the SJ-200, honing on the leather wheel is generally not necessary.
