The new version of the tapered 8 olive tree is the very definition of elegance: an 8 cm polyglace blade with a more rounded tip, a refined olive wood handle and a Virobloc safety ferrule marked with the new logo. It is the elegant little pocket knife to carry everywhere with you.

- Olive tree handle: The olive tree is the mythical tree of the Mediterranean. Olive wood is pleasant to the touch and has a beautiful polish. With a golden yellow to orange appearance, it has often dense and sinuous veining.

- Safety ring: Invented in 1955 by Marcel Opinel, the Virobloc safety ring is fitted to all closing knives from No. 06 onwards. Cut from stainless steel, the Virobloc is made up of two parts: a fixed part and a sliding part. In addition to locking the blade in the open position (safety of use), it is now possible to lock the blade in the closed position (safety of transport).

- Polyglace finish blade: The blade has a polyglace finish, double polishing allows you to obtain a mirror effect.
