The Fujiko 10Cr santoku knife accompanies you in numerous cuts like its European equivalent, the chef's knife. Suitable for cutting fruits and vegetables, meats, fish and aromatic herbs, the santoku offered here has the particularity of having cells along the entire length of its blade. They prevent food from sticking when cutting and thus provide increased comfort of use.
A damascus knife with exemplary efficiency
The blade is the result of damascus work which gives it an efficiency and a visual which will seduce you. How do you obtain a damascus blade? To do this, manufacturers use a piece of very hard steel which they then surround with various layers of softer alloys. This mixture of steels gives a razor-sharp and durable cutting quality to the blade, in addition to making it impact resistant. At the heart of the blade, we find 10Cr15MoV stainless steel, whose hardness reaches 60 HRC on the Rockwell scale.
