The new SVM-00 mini knife device accommodates very small knives that have historically been difficult to sharpen.

Until then, they were usually sharpened "on the fly", with great difficulty in maintaining the shape and precise angle of the cutting edge.

It is now possible to sharpen various carving, paring and trimming knives.

It even allows perfect sharpening of pocket knives.

Since it is the handle of the knife that is used in this device, there is no minimum length for the edge to be sharpened.

SVM-00 is used with the SVM-45 knife device.

The Tormek SVM-00 mini-knife device makes it possible to sharpen the really small blades of mini-knives, which until now were difficult to sharpen.

Mini knives are usually sharpened by hand but it is always a challenge to obtain a consistent shape and almost impossible to control the angle of the edge.

This holder is to be used in conjunction with the Tormek SVM-45 knife attachment.

You can sharpen knives with different shapes for carving, engraving and fine work, even folding pocket knives can be sharpened with perfect control.

Since it is the knife handle that is fixed in the SVM‑00 device, there is no lower limit to the blade size you can sharpen.
