The particular composition of this wheel, combined with the use of the SP-650 wheel preparer, offers two sharpening grains with a single wheel. The grinding wheel preparer refines the original surface to a grain of 220, to reach a grain of 1000. This allows you to sharpen* a tool with the same setting as that used to obtain the shape*.

The external face, perfectly flat, is designed for sharpening the board of plane irons, wood chisels and other tools.

The original wheel is ideal for achieving both efficient grinding and a fine edge with a single wheel on a wide range of steels, from carbon steel to high speed steel.
