Designed by renowned Polish knife maker Marcin Slysz, the Spydiechef is an extremely refined folding knife that takes the ergonomics and balance of a simple world-class chef's knife and translates them into a versatile pocket. It belongs to the Salt series of ultra-corrosion-resistant knives, for which it features a gracefully curved blade made of LC200N: this nitrogen-based alloy is extremely resistant to corrosion and is currently used by NASA for ball bearings. balls used in aerospace applications. The wide blade profile and completely flat grind create exceptional edge geometry that ensures precise, low-friction cutting performance.
To reduce weight, optimize balance and simplify cleaning, the Spydiechef features an open handle consisting of two precision-machined solid titanium scales. The rear ladder houses a heavy-duty Reeve Integral Lock (RIL) mechanism that locks the blade securely when in use. For added safety when working near water, the handle also includes a coated lanyard hole for easy attachment of lanyards and safety tethers and a reversible deep pocket wire clip for convenient ambidextrous carry and rollover quick access.
