Bruce Sword, medieval one-handed sword with scabbard

Named after Robert I of Scotland (1274-1329), this one-handed sword is not a reconstruction of this famous Scottish warrior's weapon, but rather a tribute to his great deeds and legacy.

This decorative one-handed sword has a double-edged EN45 spring steel blade with a long, wide full. The edges are not sharpened and the continuous tang of the blade is screwed to the pommel. The handle consists of a slightly downward-curved crosspiece, a solid octagonal pommel (Oakeshott type I1, most popular in the 14th century) and a grip section with a wooden core, which is wrapped so very elaborate with brown braided leather rope.

The guard and pommel are both solid brass and inlaid with bright red enamel. While crosses are placed at the ends of the guard, the pommel features a lion rampant (heraldic representation of a lion in an upright position with its front paws raised as if ready to attack), which is strongly reminiscent of the coat of arms of Le King Robert I of Scotland - a crimson lion on a yellow background - remembers.

This tall medieval knight's sword comes with a brown wood/leather scabbard with two carrying rings.

It is specified that this medieval sword is not suitable for combat battles, but is intended as a collector's item or decorative item. It is also excellent as an accessory, for example to complete your costume, and will make your transformation into a proud knight or a noble king simply perfect.
