The famous M3 trench knife was developed in 1943 and was intended to be issued to all American soldiers not carrying bayonets during World War II. H. Boker & Co. was also one of nine manufacturers that produced the M3 trench knife during the war, but with an order volume of 31,300 knives, they delivered the smallest number of all suppliers. The sister company of Boker's main factory in Solingen was based in New Jersey at the time.
The Böker M3 trench knife revives this classic piece of American military history and combines historic design with high-quality materials and perfect workmanship. The black-coated blade is made from SK-85 non-stainless carbon steel and bears the original hallmark "H. Boker & Co." from 1943. The handle consists of pressed leather rings and always lies securely in the hand, even when wet and damp. The characteristic parry element prevents unintentional slipping on the blade. The ricasso on the back of the blade not only reduces the weight and perfects the balance of the knife, but also emphasizes the clear lines. With authentic US M8A1 scabbard and individual serial number.
