The Zero Tolerance 0006 is a large, sturdy survival knife. A 100% Zero Tolerance model, faithful to what they have been doing for years! Designed to be used. Whether you are going on a survival mission, a camping trip or for professional use. The 0006 is inspired by the ZT-9 Bayonet. It was originally a design by Mick Strider. The name of the 0006 also comes from the 6-inch blade of the ZT-9.
Its full tang blade is made from CPM 3V steel. This is an extremely hard and strong American steel. The CPM 3V also retains its edge very well, while being easy to sharpen. Be careful with acids, salt and humidity: CPM 3V is not completely stainless. But Zero Tolerance has remedied this by protecting the blade with a very elegant dark gray Cerakote coating.
The handle is G10 olive green. With deep grooves for better grip. The handle guard and pommel are made of stainless steel with a sanded finish. The facets and finishes of the guard and pommel are magnificent. Very well done!
The holster is made of solid Kydex. When putting the knife in the sheath, you hear a solid “click”. The snap buckle ensures that the knife stays secure in the sheath. The case has openings so it can also be attached to a MOLLE compatible jacket or backpack
