Het oppervlak van de slijpschijf moet ongeveer elke minuut worden ontdaan van metaaldeeltjes met de dunne kant van de SP-650 slijpschijfvoorbereider. Gebruik het ruwe gedeelte van de wielvoorbereider niet op de Japanse Waterstone.
Geschikt voor Tormek T-8, Tormek T-7 en eerdere modellen met een slijpschijfdiameter van 250 mm. Voor kleinere Tormek-modellen, bekijk de Japanse Waterstone Tormek SJ-200.
* Onderscheid de vorm en verscherping van het gereedschap. Door te vormen verwijder je staal om een vorm en rand naar keuze te verkrijgen. Verscherpen is slechts een aanpassing van een bestaande vorm om de snede nieuw leven in te blazen.
